Prestige:
Race 4
Overview
Deceptively calm at the start, London Loop saves all its cruelty for later. The route dives under the Thames and winds through the city before tilting upward toward Box Hill, where the real test begins. It's not about one explosive climb, it's about who can retain max fresh power the most in all three reps. Box Hill is a pure durability battle, where Vo2 max and recovery speed separate contenders from pack fodder.
The descents offer a little rest, and the rolling terrain back into the city keeps the pressure high. Riders who can recover fast between surges and stay efficient under fatigue will dominate here. This course rewards the puncheurs—strong enough to climb, yet resilient enough to recover for the final sprint for the win.
