What We've Been Up To

When we launched the Prestige Series in partnership with Restart Racing last November, we had a clear vision: elevate competitive Cycling Esports out of a community lead org with the standards, verification, and production quality it deserves. With the series' success, what has happened since has moved faster than we imagined.

Shortly after Prestige, the Swedish Cycling Federation came on with a 2-year agreement, trusting Leadout to deliver the SWE Cup as their national Esports series, with racing tied to federation memberships and full broadcast support from Leadout.

Cycling Canada followed with their own 2-year agreement, and together we delivered a fully sanctioned national Esports championship, crowning champions across Masters, Elite, and Junior categories! That event included a community-run lead-in series, the Maple Cup, that created something we think is genuinely important for the future of the sport: a competitive pathway connecting grassroots racing to the national and international stage.

Two multi-year federation agreements. A national championship. A growing pathway from community racing to the top. And we're just getting started.

UK Esport Championship 2026

The UK Esport Championship is entering its second year with us and is shaping up to be the premiere Cycling Esports event in the country.

A note from the organizer Dean Cunningham:

A Championship race is just the beginning. The intention is to grow Cycling Esports within the UK. With CE:UK, we want to build a positive movement. It’s not just about an annual Championship race. We want to build a supportive community of racers in our country.

The momentum of a strong community will allow us to deliver league structures, regional and national rankings, as well as host further Championship events.

Platform Updates

FIT Verification Tools - New FIT file analysis tools give race organizers and third-party governance bodies the ability to independently review and verify athlete performance data.

Federation Support - Federation infrastructure is now built directly into the platform. National federations that want to organize events, drop us a note!

Verification Journey - Height verification and device registration are now tied to athlete profiles from the start, creating a baseline of accountability that carries through every event. Head to your settings page to get setup to race with Leadout!

Performance Verification for Organizers - Event directors and governance bodies can now audit race data and make informed decisions about competitive integrity independently.

Multi-Language Support - Portuguese, French, Spanish, and Italian are now natively supported in the app. If you're interested in helping improve the translations, please get in touch with us.

Coming Soon - Streamer and broadcast suites, new community events on a more frequent schedule, and an expanding federation calendar.
